Ok...calm down! Megan - take a deep breath! The title of this post is just what Dr. Grill said as he sat down with us this morning at our very first appointment!
He was looking at our ultrasound results and came off with this comment within seconds of coming in the room! Zig looked at him and gasped - not realizing he was joking! I laughed and said "that's not funny!" The crazy part about it is that in the ultrasound on Friday, we thought the baby looked awfully big...so I guess it wouldn't have been the most shocking thing to hear that that there was more than one in there... Even still, Dr. Grill really knows how to shake up a room!
His report from our first ultrasound and the first exam was all postive! After a few quick tests and me asking him to be gentle with my "girls," he let us ask a few questions and we were on our way! This man wastes no time, but doesn't hesitate to let us ask questions. I wanted to check with him about a prenatal vitamin situation I've been having. He gave me great advice that will hopefully work out better than the throwing up has...
After all we've been through, I was almost shocked to hear Dr. Grill say that everything looked great! I kept asking him over and over if things looked good - How did the blood work look? How about the ultrasound? Is the baby still in there? He must have thought I was crazy, but was very reassuring that things were great so far!
A little bit of an update - the new due date for Baby Wray is Friday, September 19, 2008. This is the third due date we've been given, but this one came right from the doctor, after the measurements of Friday's ultrasound. Maybe we should just clear our calendars for the whole month of September, that way, no one misses anything!
Our next appointment is scheduled for Monday, March 17 at 2:45. For the first few months, we'll see Dr. Grill every 4 weeks. He seemed to think that next time, we'll try to listen for the heartbeat in the office. That would be great!
So for now, it's time to be happy! Everything is great, my morning sickness is a little more under control, and my belly is going to start growing by the day! Speaking of bellies, Zig and I will have to take some new belly pictures soon!
Thanks for all of the well-wishes and prayers so far in this pregnancy! I've felt each one and they seem to be working!
Keep on growing in there Baby Wray, there's lots of people waiting to meet you!
We love you already!

My heart skipped a beat when I saw your post title...
I'm still a little shaken up about that.
I'm so glad that you got a good report this morning. Hopefully that sets your mind at ease a little bit. Now we can start counting down the days until you get to see the doctor again and hear that precious baby's little heart woosh-wooshing in there.
Enjoy the rest of your day off! I'll talk to you soon!
