Seven and a half...

Seven and a half days left.
Seven and a half days with my eighth graders.

Seven and a half days left with these girls who will soon be in high school!

Seven and a half days with sixth graders...

Seven and a half days left with these smiles that I'll miss so much...

Seven and a half days left with girls who mean so much to me...

Seven and a half days left with girls who have brought so much joy to my life!

Seven and a half days left with this year's Builders Club officers who have made their mark on our club, our entire school and our community!

Seven and a half days left with these kids - who threw me not 1, but 5 baby showers for Brooke!

Seven and a half days to enjoy every last squeeze I can get...

...even if it means praying for strength to keep up with them in Hershey Park!

Seven and a half days...

...until I begin an entire summer with my baby girl...

Lord, thank you for these seven and a half days.

True Love!

Even though these two don't ALWAYS get along, we know they love each other!

...and those 'cheesy' smiles are too precious for words!

Manda - our husbands must have talked! Beautiful flowers were delivered to IVMS from my wonderful husband - thanking me for all that I do!
As a family of three, we've been working very hard at spending quality time together!
We already have our summer packed full of vacations to enjoy!
The wonderful weather this weekend made for a perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the sunshine with friends...
On Saturday, the Noerr family came for a patio picnic!
I'm not sure how I feel about seeing the 2nd generation of "Noerr Chasers" right in front of my e eyes...

...but I can certainly say, that this is probably the sweetest thing I've ever seen in my life!
(Tear...)

Caleb and Brooke played so well together! Leah and I were so proud!

Our boys - saying goodbye to a furry creature that met an untimely death from Zig's boot...end of story.

Daddy with his baby girl.

After a great meal of steaks, shrimp, salad, veggie pizza, spicy chicken dip, yummy beverages, and lemon poke cake (YUM!), Leah and I brought the kids inside for bedtime snacks!
Caleb is so sweet with Brooke!
The Noerr's stayed long passed the kids' bed time's - and we enjoyed their company so much! I'm already looking forward to lots of late evenings with them this summer!
Thanks for coming friends, we love you so much!

This morning, Brooke and I were going to get up for church, but we decided to sleep in for a little while...
...and besides, we were way too busy with coloring,

and eating donuts,

and taking walks in our wagon,

and watching bunny rabbits,

and looking gorgeous...

and eating more donuts...

and enjoying this cute yellow chair.

More soon!

3rd Annual...

I think it's official.... SENIORITIS is setting in!
I honestly believe that this is the first year of my teaching career that I've been counting the days, hours, and seconds until the school year ends!

The change in the weather is the first slap in the face! The beautiful sunshine and warm spring air make me jealous of my Mom who is at home playing outside with Brooke everyday! I can NOT wait until we get to spend this summer together...just being together...all day!

Anywho...
I wanted to fill this post with an update of where we've been these days, but since I could fill up multiple posts with pictures and a variety of topics, I chose 2 of the most exciting events from Brooke's world (from the past 2 weeks) and I'd love to share them with you!

TODAY WAS THE 3rd Annual IVMS SUPER DANCE!
...a project started by my Mother in the 1990's as a high school Key Club fundraiser.
This first picture shows the traditional "before shot..." just before the dancers begin their dance marathon!
Sitting in the front in the blue shirt is Jack. Jack was a former IVMS student who was diagnosed with non-hodgekins lymphoma.

Jack with just a few of his biggest fans!
What a strong young man he is! He's brave, confident, and strong!
After 18 months of chemo therapy and a long recovery process, Jack is now cancer free! AMEN!
All of my dancers who came today raised money for the Janet Weis Foundation and the Children's Miracle Network. This facility saved Jack's life!

We danced and danced ALL DAY!

The kids danced for six hours in support of the Janet Weis Foundation!

My baby loves to dance!

The kids took such good care of Brooke - the danced with her, passed the ball with her....made me realize that I'll have SO MANY potential baby-sitters to choose from as these girls get older!

This was the "after shot!" Notice the blue shirts! My Builders Club kids raised over $1500 for the Janet Weis Foundation! They went home with tons of door prizes and a Children's Miracle Network t-shirt!

The kids spent hours getting each other to sign their shirts - and we're all planning on wearing the shirts to school on Monday!

Have I mentioned how much I adore these goofy girlies?? HA!

(Maddie, Spark, Kate, Spikey, and Hanney!)

AND NOW -

3rd Annual Cousin's Day!

Man, Oh Man! Our Cousin's Day attendance just keeps multiplying!

We had such a great day of conversation, food, laughs, and swimming!

Look at that bikini body!

I could have spent the entire Cousin's Day staring at this beach babe!

My family of 3 has so much to be thankful for!

More soon!
