Good Morning and Happy Monday!
After finally reaching the 12 week mark on Friday, I began to worry about what I should be looking forward to next...
Since my morning/all day sickness should be almost packed up and ready to leave, and I won't be able to use that as a sign that I'm still very pregnant, I realized that all I need to do is get to our next appointment with Dr. Grill on the 17th when we will try to find the little ticker using the Doppler machine! After I hear that beautiful sound, and knowing that we are already well into the 2nd trimester by then, I think my heart will find some peace.
When I finally got all of this planned out and had myself talked into just waiting patiently, this little critter in my belly decided to REMIND me that he/she is still there and growing away!
I'll spare you the disgusting details, but my blasted Fruity Pebbles that tasted SO GOOD going down, didn't stay down for long! And what a mess I made! Yowza!
The worst part about it was that I had already done my hair and make up for the day! After 'tossing my cookies' my eyes were all teary, the eye make up looked disastrous, and my nose was running! I had to start all over again with my face and was almost late for school this morning! Grrr...
Needless to say, I'm about ready for this ALL DAY SICKNESS CRAP to be on its way OUT!
I'll end my post with what I've been telling Zig for the past few weeks - I hope we all enjoy this pregnancy, because after all of this, I'm only having one!
P.S.
It seems that my secret is OUT and my 6th graders have been 'buzzing' about it behind my back! One of my kids from the original class that I told came into my room today and said "Mrs. Wray, do you know that your whole first period class knows your secret?!" Oh dear... Mrs. Shepherd gets that same class during 6th period today...I think I'll make an appearance during that period and officially 'spill the beans' myself!
I knew the secret wouldn't STAY a secret for long...especially since I'm really starting to look pregnant more each day!
