The last few days...

We've had a wonderful last few days!!

On Friday, Nana, Brooke and I traveled to Milton to spend the day with Aunt Meg, Josh and Lo!

Meg and I both decided that these days are WAY TOO much fun and that we wished we could do it at least 3 times a week!

Since Brooke and Lauren are BOTH growing so quickly, Meg and I needed to do some trading of tubs, toys, and gadgets between the girls...

I took her the next 3 tubs of Brooke's clothes, the Fisher Price Kitchen and some other toys that had been Josh's...

Have I mentioned how much I love my sister and being able to share all of the kids' stuff??

The kids shared lunch, played with Play Doh and ate snacks while watching Wubzy!

We had such a great visit!

Aunt Meg sent us home with Brooke's pink seat...

Grammy Kathy and John got us this seat for Brooke's baby shower...

I remember picking out this fluffly pink seat and being in love with it as soon as I saw it!

When Grammy arrived at the baby shower, the seat was all put together and was holding Brooke's very first pair of Nike sneakers! I'll never forget it!

I had no idea how much we would use this seat...and how much Brooke would love it!

Can you believe that she was once this small?

This heavenly pink seat hugged her in warmth and comfort when Mommy's arms needed a break!

....and now look at my 'baby!'

How quickly time flies!

The 'birthday madness' of July came around again last week as Aunt Meg, Pappy Fred, and Monster Caleb celebrated another year!

Caleb's Mommy and Daddy threw a wonderful truck party for his 2nd birthday!

They have so much to celebrate this year!

One of the coolest parts of the party was hearing all of Scott and Leah's family talking to Brooke! They all said things like "So, THIS is Brooke! Caleb talks about her so much!"

I'm so glad that we have been able to keep this kids close and help them to really love each other - the way the parents do!

Brooke didn't each much at the party, but was very interested in the 'dump truck cake!'

She's become a bit of a monkey lately - climbing up slides and riding down all by herself!

Visiting with Meg and Caleb's party were definitely the highlight to our weekend, but there was also lots of down time at home with Daddy...

They're best buds!...and time with Nana and Pap!

Brooke didn't each much at Caleb's party, so Nana made her an egg for a late supper!

She'd take a bite of egg, then RUN to Pap!

He always tells her to 'SLOW DOWN,' but I'm not sure she really understands what that means!

I wonder how long it'll be until she wipes out!?

I can dress her up, do her hair, paint her pigs pink, but she'll still play in the dirt!

My sister always says, 'the dirtier the tub water, the better the day!'

I'd say we've had a GREAT couple of days!
