Our First Fashion Show!

Isn't life grand?

We've had this precious baby girl in our lives for exactly 18 days now and our happiness seems to grow by the minute! Everything from picking out what she might wear on a given day to planning our outings as a family of three - our lives have changed so much...and we are so truly blessed!

It seems a little silly for me to post about the happenings in Brooke's life - since really, all she does is eat and sleep! Most of my pictures that I'm capturing are of her sleeping in her pink Boppy Bouncy seat, and I'm trying to get pictures of every adorable outfit since she won't be wearing many of them for long!

We've had quite a rough time trying to keep this child dressed in her first few weeks of life! It was still pretty warm the week she was born, so she wore mostly short-sleeved onesies and little stretch pants in a newborn size! Thank goodness I bought those onesie sets 2 days before she was born - I don't know what she would have worn! All of the precious Newborn one-piece outfits were ridiculously big on her for the first two weeks! My mom kept saying that I had better keep trying to put them on her every morning, since soon, they won't fit at all! As the weather got cooler, I began to worry about how I would ever take this child outside since the only things that fit her are short-sleeved! Then, of course, Nana found us some awesome long-sleeved onesies that match the stretch pants we already have! Perfect!

And now, just this morning, the one-piece outfits don't look as ridiculous! She must be growing!

The pictures I've included are from this morning - in two, yes two, different outfits! As I was snapping pictures in the "Love Me" outfit that Aunt Meggie bought us, she threw up all over herself! Lovely... So we changed into the pink flowered suit that was actually purchased at Babies R Us the day we found out she was a girl! Crazy what I remember...and what I don't!

We had an awesome weekend with the Massachusetts clan who was here for the Penn State game this weekend! Aunt Meggie, Uncle Jason, and cousin Josh were home too to take my cousins to the game - while Nana, Pap and I kept Josh AND Brooke all day yesterday! Joshua was just awesome all day - he loved playing with Pap and Nana and he kept telling Brooke - "You're so cute!" She was a trooper too - and Zig and I greatly enjoyed sharing her with more family!

So - as our princess snoozes away beside me, I'll say another prayer of thanks for such a perfect little angel in our lives! Life is good!

Hi guys! How is it possible that Brooke has gotten even more adorable since I saw her on Friday night? I LOVE LOVE LOVE the outfits....can't say that enough. And how in the world did you catch that first smile so soon? Amazing!

Can't wait to see you all again soon. This whirlwind weekend didn't quite do it for me!!

Give her a squeeze for Aunt Meg!
