Easter 2011

My most FAVORITE weekends are the ones that I get to spend with my sister and family!

Even if it means just spending some lazy hours talking, watching the kids play, and sharing meals - there's nothing I love more than a weekend with the best family on this earth!

...and when you add in the opportunity to squeeze and smooch THESE TWO GORGEOUS faces...you just can't lose!

We were thrilled to welcome the Easter Bunny and all of his goodness this weekend with Meg, Jason, Nan, Pap and the kiddos! Lots of full Easter baskets and plenty of sugar-filled tummies made for a super fun weekend!

Brooke got a super-girlie basket from the Dugan clan - and loves it so much!

Since this Easter's weather wasn't superb, we decided to move our egg hunt to Club Bob!

This kids were gearing up to head down stairs to hunt the eggs!

The boys had to get creative with hiding spots!

There were plenty of eggs for all 3 of the kiddos! They had a ball!

It probably took them longer to sort through their many varieties of candy and decide which to eat first - than it did to actually find them all!

Take a moment to enjoy the PONY TAIL!

The fact that it stayed in Brooke's head for a few hours - is considered a huge victory for me!

Thank you, very much!

Where did my baby go?

The kids enjoyed lots of play time in Club Bob, that included singing and guitar time with Pap! What a show they put on for us!

After an amazing Easter meal (my parents are the BEST cooks!), we settled in for play time! Uncle Jason entertained the kids for a while with some funny Sesame Street videos on his iPad.

(We considered the fact that Brooke spent a while on Uncle Jason's lap a huge victory as well!)

My family of 3 returned home late Saturday night just in time for bed!

When Brooke was asleep, the Easter Bunny stopped by to leave her lots more eggs to hunt and some special Easter treats!

Toy Story is our FAVE these days! So, when Brooke saw this stuffed Woody Cowboy waiting for her, she RAN down the stairs to hug him!

I found an egg!

And here's some more!

So many treats, so much candy...

SUGAR RUSH!

The classic Easter Sunday photo!

Enjoy the next few shots...

Goodness, I love these 3!

After Aunt Meggie and the clan headed back to the Ville of Turbot, Brooke decided to crash with Woody on the couch during Mary Poppins!

...I think she's finally found her new BFF.

Happy Easter everyone!

A few favorites :)

Happy Good Friday!
I'm at home resting today, after having my wisdom teeth removed yesterday!

My Mom has been such an amazing help, keeping Brooke so that I can rest and take my time to heal!

In some of my quiet moments this morning, I was looking back through pictures of Brooke's first year with us - and I decided to post some of my all time favorite pictures!
