New Camera!

Just before Brooke was born, Zig and my very-pregnant-self made a special trip to purchase a new camera and video camera to capture every single moment of our new life as parents! My little point-and-shoot Sony got us through 2 whole years before meeting it's (what we thought would be) death at the beach last summer! Too much sun, water, and SAND for a Sony, I suppose. For almost a year, the camera will take pictures, but the zoom no longer works. Bummer.

So I was more than pleasantly suprised when my husband let me pick out a new camera just a few nights ago!

It's not a professional camera, by any means, and it still fits in the pockets of my Vera very nicely. However, this little Nikon has some really cool gadgets! Needless to say, I've been snapping pictures left and right, and enjoying the freedom of ZOOMING!

Take it from me, you have no idea how hard it is to take good pictures without any kind of zoom!
