Pigtails and Prayers.

The Lord heard my prayers recently...

...He finally allowed my precious girl to be patient enough for Mommy to get pigtails in her hair!

I mean, seriously! Isn't she the cutest thing?

The Lord also heard the prayers of my family who has prayed for Zig. Since he has become such a permanent staple in our family, my church family has welcomed him with open arms. When Brooke was born and dedicated into that same loving church family, we started praying that Zig might hear the call to make decision to become baptised into the church.

This morning, Brooke's Daddy made the 'outward statement of the inward faith' and was dunked "Brethren Style" in the baptismal pool - in front of his new church family!
I'm not sure that I've ever been so proud of my husband!
I've seen him run towards burning buildings as a firefighter...
...hit homeruns for his baseball team...
...hold his baby girl for the first time.

But watching as he stood with confidence in front of the congregation, professing that his life would be led by God from now on, was really something to see!
My parents cried.
I cried.
Brooke called for her Daddy from the back of the church.
The deacons welcomed him as he stepped out of the pool and the entire congregation hugged and greeted him for a long while after the service.

Our family of 3 is now a complete circle.
And I couldn't be more proud!

And now...

...a SUPER SPECIAL THANK YOU!!!

...to LeAnn!

Can you tell how much she LOVES these amazing cookies!
Thank you so much for always thinking of Brooke when you prepare these goodies!
Hugs and Kisses from Brookie!

Happy Week, everyone!
(P.S. How much do you LOVE Brooke's capri's in this last picture!!!??? Um, ME TOO!)
