...means that 125 6
th graders know me as their teacher...

...it means that my door is always open to each and every one of them...

...and that it's still strange to see my name in front of the door after 14 months off!!

...it means sharing football Saturdays with these two precious angels...

...and being the best Mommy and Aunt Libby that I know how to be...

...it means staying up late, baking 6 dozen cupcakes, dying the icing the perfect shades of pink and purple, attempting to be creative with the icing, only to just do it the 'normal' way...

...it means going over-board on decorations for my first born daughter's 1st birthday party - and almost crying when I saw how excited she was about the balloons!

...it means planning the wedding of my daughter with this handsome Monster in about 20 years!

...it means being so thankful to my Mom and Dad for the millions of things they do to help make my life easier!

...it means inviting almost everyone we know to Brooke's birthday party, so that she knows just how loved she is!

...it means demanding "Richard harmony" on Brooke's first rendition of 'Happy Birthday...'

...and allowing her to turn all shades of purple as she devoured her birthday cupcake!

...it means feeling lucky to the core that so many people could share Brooke's day with us...

...and giggling as she gets lost in her new pile of birthday toys!
Being Mrs. Wray means everything to me.
The Mrs. Wray that my new students are meeting this year is a better teacher than I've ever been. That is definitely due to the year that I had away from teaching - learning to become a mother and a better wife.
The day that I became Mrs. Wray was one of the happiest days of my life! My husband allows me to be exactly who I am - Mrs. Wray the teacher, Brooke's Mom, Aunt Libby...and just plain old me.
Me...
Figuring out life as a working Mom.
Flabbergasted over having an almost 1 year old daughter.
Feeling blessed to be Mrs. Wray. Every single day.
